Pastor David A. Burrus (Pastor D) is the senior pastor of Kingdom Harvest Church Global (KHC). KHC has established it’s headquarters in Waco, Texas but has a nationally based group of ministry partners. In addition to his commitment as Senior Pastor to KHC, Pastor D is also the founder of the community based organization Live Out Loud (LOL), which is an organization designed to assist abused women and children to re-discover their voices in society, and to attack life with a renewed confidence and boldness. In 2009 Kingdom Harvest Church Global was established. With an apostolic and prophetic flow KHC teaches and imparts the message of the Kingdom through CDs, mp3′s, books, and various teaching manuals.
After serving in such capacities as a worship leader, armor bearer, youth pastor, and associate minister for over 15 years, in 2005 the Lord confirmed Pastor D’s assignment to begin planting ministries and serving as senior pastor, and he spent the next three serving in a pastoral apprenticeship under Bishop George D. McKinney and the St. Stephen’s COGIC, San Diego, California. A man after God’s own heart, Pastor D is committed to fulfilling the call and mandate of the Master which is to “…go ye into all the world preaching the Gospel…” (Mark 16:15). With a mantra of “Just Teach the Kingdom!”, Pastor D tenaciously teaches, preaches, and lives out the Kingdom life spoken of by the Lord Jesus Christ.
The focus and drive of KHC is founded in Ephesians 4:11-17 which is to empower the ministry gifts of the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to work in harmony with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Pastor D knows this type of ministry will edify the Body of Christ, and he accepts his responsibility to diligently lay the proper foundation, as directed by the Holy Spirit, to allow the body of Christ to become unified in faith and knowledge.
The Lord Jesus in Luke 11:2 said, “…Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in Heaven, so in Earth”. It is with this directive KHC and Pastor D have traveled throughout the United States and internationally, establishing the kingdom of the Lord Jesus with a network of ministries that have the same kingdom “DNA”. 
Pastor D is married to Tanisha L. Burrus who serves with him in ministry as Co-Pastor of the Kingdom Harvest Church Global. The California natives currently reside in Waco, Texas with their 2 children Zion J. Burrus and Micah-Israel Burrus . They also have several spiritual sons and daughters that they guide and minister to on a consistent basis.
